Coaching

What is coaching?

Coaching is a long-term, regular, goal-directed experiential and personalised development process to improve a client’s capacity to reach their work-related short- and long-term objectives. Coaching takes place through individual or group interaction, uses data from multiple sources and is based on mutual trust and respect. The coach and the client work in partnership to achieve the best results to improve the client’s skills and qualities.

What is our process?

1

Introductory meeting with coachee (and sponsor). Topics covered: what is coaching, what to expect, responsibilities of each side.

2

Coaching process - bi-monthly or monthly meetings between coach and client (coachee) during 3 to 12 months. The coachee is expected to do the agreed homework (reading, analysis, exercises) between sessions.

3

Follow-up with the coachee and sponsor. What did we achieve? Promises/plans for future. Possible extension of the program for another period.

How long does it take?

A typical coaching assignment is a 3 to 12 month process with bi-monthly or monthly meetings. Individual coaching sessions are usually 50-60 minutes, for team coaching a half-day off-site meeting is appropriate. Group coaching sessions might vary from 90 minutes to half-day sessions.
